- Tegus — An awesome database that lets you find dozens of expert network calls on any company in seconds. Great for learning about any new company/industry. I am personally obsessed with Tegus and any hedge fund without it is at a major disadvantage. Follow on Twitter for more info. ($$$)
- TheTikr — A super convenient tool for financial data, earnings calls, or stock screener for every public company. Incredibly easy to use. (Lots of free content and a new $180/year tier)
- Bedrock AI — Cool software that extracts hard-to-find red flags from SEC filings. Early-stage, but it is neat ($$)
- Neckar Value — Awesome newsletter with A+ investor profiles and general articles (Lots of free content, paid tier is $120/year)
- @AndrewRangeley — Awesome podcast with underfollowed investors sharing off-the-beaten-path ideas. Also, a great newsletter on SPACs/markets. (Podcast is free. The newsletter is $500/year)
- hhhypergrowth — Best newsletter on fast-growing technology. Hhhypergrowth shows a depth of understanding that exceeds institutional research and is very consumable for a layman ($500/year)
- PACER — Find lawsuits against any company or individual
- Glassdoor — Great way to search for ex-employee reviews of corporate culture
- Quartr App — App that lets you listen to recordings of any earnings call
- “A Perspective on Leadership and Strategy” — Lecture from Andrew Clyde, CEO of Murphy USA (NYSE: MUSA), on capital allocation and business
- “Confessions of a Capital Junkie” — Widely respected presentation by the late Sergio Marchionne on the automotive industry's value-destroying addiction to capital
- VisualPing — Track changes made to any website
- SiteJabber — Wide collection of consumer reviews for online businesses
