A dry white wine made from carricante from the Etna region of Siciliy. It was called one of the best Italian wines of the 2016 vintage and given 96 points by Ian D’Agata of Vinous.
Sicilian wines are planted on Mt Etna, the most active volcano in Europe.
The colder you make a wine, the more it masks the flavor of the wine. Preference whether to drink cool vs. cold (cool is best for great white wines...c. 50 degrees).
